Cookie Dough Cupcakes

What would it be like to put my favorite cookie and favorite dessert, the cupcake, together? The answer is wonderful, amazing, delicious. Try this out yourself. Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full (or 30 grams) with your favorite cake batter, drop your favorite cookie dough (1 T.) into the cupcake batter and bake 15-17 minutes in a 350° oven. Top with buttercream frosting, chocolate shavings and a chocolate chip. Two great desserts in one.

I love it! Just curious, did the cookie bake through? It looks like it stayed so soft. I'm going to remember this one!

NICE! What a thought! And to think I have never seen this before. I will so try it. I would want the cookie to stay sort of doughy. Maybe underbake the whole thing a little? THANKS for a great idea.

Nicole- I did try to under bake some and they "fell". Try to par bake the cupcake and poke the dough down in there at the half way point and let us know what happens. I will bust if I make more anytime soon!

I know this is a stupid question but where is the recipe?

Robin Sue said...

anon- You may use any cake batter recipe you'd like or even a cake mix. For the cookie dough, you may use your favorite cookie dough or this one: http://www.verybestbaking.com/recipes/detail.aspx?ID=30173
For the frosting use this one:

By the way there is no such thing as a stupid question.
