Our summer here in BRK has ebbed and flowed between fantastical activity and lazy nights on the patio. It has been a summer of family, friends, and firsts! Daelyn cooks for the first time. Dryden, my oldest joins CrossFit. I become a CrossFit Coach. Himself and I visit Lake Arrowhead for the first time. I have been a productive momma (hate the word busy) running my kids to their activities, working on things behind the scenes here at BRK, and simply being. I did manage to finish only one book so far this summer and it was a doozie- Gone Girl. I think my head popped off at the climax of the story! Here is our summer in photos…

My Mom leaves for the lake on Saturday – they plan to scatter my Uncle’s ashes in the lake next week – his favorite place to be!
