I think I will try a from scratch yellow cake next time, brush the flat part with peach schnapps and put a nice flavor in the frosting like - more peach schnapps! I ordered my pans online so that was pretty simple. My frosting was very stiff and held up fine with no squishing. Try to make your frosting a bit stiffer. Mine had been in the frige but had sat on the counter about 30 minutes before I stirred it up before frosting. My cakes did not puff up at all, you can see in the picture the tops were flat. So I don&#39;t know if you used a different cake batter than mine, or what? Hmmm? I could cut them in half completely but then the peaches are tiny. <br /><br />The frosting.... are we suppose to freeze it first or something? I left my frosting in the fridge to get it harder but when i put in the cakes and then put the tops on, the frosting squished out, no matter how gently i was. So i guess i&#39;ll try spreading it on the cake, freezing it, then put the top on cause i don&#39;t know HOW she keeps the frosting from squishing out.
